Doug is a one-man show and obviously very popular and gets incredibly busy. His personal attention to his customers are second to no one. He will get back to you and he'll more than likely answer any and all of your questions. It's hard to be patient but it will pay off in the end. I too questioned it all when I was waiting but now that I've talked to him and dealt with him, everything you've heard about the customer service is absolutely true. He is that good.
Oh yeah, so are his tunes

I ordered mine on 5/17 and still waiting although I talked to Doug yesterday and he said he was shipping out right away. He was waiting on the C&L Street CAI (as usual per Doug lol)
I hope to be installing it this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered C&L Racer with tunes on 5/25. Got an e-mail that said it shipped yesterday (6/5). So I'm guessing they'll be here in a few days which means it'll have taken about two weeks including a holiday stuck in there.
I sure am Bill (say hello to Mr.Foot!
)!

Tomorrow I leave for Chicago for a week and when I get back I have to take the car in for the rear axel groan issue, so it may be awhile before I can even put it on.
Of course I can look on the bright side... Plenty of time to burn out the 89 octane I was running!

I also ordered the racer.
ordered 5/25, shipped, 6/5, arrived 6/7
Dang that's quick! Got it today when I came home from work (that's a day short of 2 weeks from time of order)! I was deep into installing it when I realized I was still in my work clothes!!!
Lot more pull on the launch and sounds deeper too. Little whiplash if you slowly get it up to 4000 rmp in 2nd and then step on it.
Oh and I absolutely love that the tach limiter is now at 6500!
As far as throttle lag, it has mostly gone away but I feel it's still there just a little. But then I'm still running 87 perf. Someday I'll switch it up to 93 octane race so see what's what. It is easier to chirp the tires now during shifts but I was unable to get them to spin shifting into 2nd (manuel trans) like I heard others say. Maybe that's b/c I'm still running 87 perf?

I'm jealous.
Doug informed me that mine is on the next shipment from C&L.
I thought only the Street intakes were always on backorder, oh well.
btw, there is a noticable difference between the 87P and the 91/93R.

Another good thing besides the power we get from Doug’s tunes, is my gas mileage has improved by almost 1.5-2 mpg
Thanks Doug, I feel so much better when I mash down the accelerator to feel all the new found power you've provided me

yeah once you get that race tune installed it will have 0 lag, i figure it this way
Performance tune = power in the higher RPM range
Torque tune = power in lower RPM but drags off into higher RPM
Race tune = Power from start to finish with no drop off
(of course my DD tune is the 93 Race tune
)
Dougs tunes ROCK!!
another thing, when i first raced the car before dougs tunes i was running a 14.6 at the track (first time racing offically) after the tune i am running 14.0 still with a high 60' time (2.63) but if i get the car down to (1.90) 60's i will be in the 13s and thats with an auto

I got my 87 tune so that if I get stranded at a gas station that only had 87 I could get gas. Happens more often than you'd think where everyonee in my town owns beemers, mercedes, a few enzo's and Vipers
