Two-Tone Leather on non GT/CS??

I am getting another '07 gt premium vert from my dealer. They have located one that is a vista blue with "black w/ dove accent leather" (listed under optional equipment on sticker, but no charge). Is it possible these would be the same seats as in the GT/CS? I looked on the Ford website and located a vista blue GT/CS and it says the same description. Talked to dealer and he said it was, but I have not heard of this before..??.. I like the seats and would not be dissapointed either way. Please let me know if anyone knows the answer.

Oh, BTW, here are some of the other options if it helps:

Auto Trans
IUP
Satin Alum. Panel
Active Anti-Theft
Wheel locking kit
Side air bags
Comfort group
Boot Cover
18" Prem wheels
PTP

Thanks for the help!

With the Premier Trim Package (PTP) the seats and door panels will be Dove and the rest of the interior is Charcoal. I attached a picture of a PTP interior with Chamois accents. Yours will look exactly the same except the Chamois will be Dove and your dashboard inserts will be a brighter silver (Satin Alum Panel).

Tispco... Interesting... I haven't found a "dove" color on the interior, could it be light graphite?

The only reason I thought it may be the same as the GT/CS is that on the ones (GT/CS) I looked at it listed the color combo as the same (at the top of the sticker and in the options part) for both cars.

Either way I think it would look cool..

Tom

Ford's method of interior description just plain sucks. Their website was totally wrong on 07 interior color combos.

Read my sticker for interior color description:

Then check out the interior color combo. That's Black/Dove accent leather. The GT/CS gets the light color on the insert and the black surrounding leather.

I got the graphite/ dove seats in my GT. The problem was I told them thats what I wanted when I ordered the car and they ASSUMED it would come in that way. It did NOT so I made them give me the seats out of a nearby GT/CS.... They put my graphite seats in the GT/CS

Thats absurd ruining someones future CS.

If you get all charcoal seats, an upholstery shop can do grey inserts for not a whole lot of scratch. I didn't care for the dove ICAP when I first saw it but it looks pretty sweet after seeing it in a few cars.

Embalmer--> There you have it! The sticker on the one they found said that exactly at the top. It also said it down in the option area. I still think that is cool and will look good on a vert, but don't they (the dealer) know ? Oh well...... Thanks for your picts, that helped clarify it for me!

I'm very suprised that they did that. The same thing happened to me... I just had to re-order.

In response to the threads question... Be advised- No, you will not be getting the two-tone seats on the GT.

loneranger68 -- Sorry for the mis-information. I was positive you could not get two-tone seats in a GT because that is what I wanted in mine, but I assumed the PTP interiors followed a similar theme. The Red, Chamois, and Black are all the same. I agree the decription sucks. It says Dove Accent Leather and there is NO Dove colored leather on the car!

SteelTown,
My dealer is a straight up guy and he gave me what I ordered, even though they goofed.(but mainly cuz I am bigger than he is and I was really ****ed off) I will go back to them again for my next one because of their actions.

It's awesome that they did that... but they'll run into problems with the vin, not only on your car, but the car that they swapped the seats out. Like I said, 99% of the dealerships would have never did "that". They usually will not even swap out wheels because of the aforementioned. It was never an option for me, I had to re-order, but it's cool that they hooked you up

The description for the '07 interior was horrendous. Most everyone that ordered one before they landed on dealer lots didn't even know what their interior would look like until they actually received their car (myself included). Some people thought the seats would have inserts like the GT/CS, others thought the seats would be one color. Luckily, my red interior was how I imagined it.

actually they ended up selling the new GT/CS as used because of the seats. As I recall it sold for 27,000 at the used car lot with 22 miles on it.

And they could of just had classic soft trim put identical hides(although with better leather) in the car for about $850 bones.

The Red and the Chamois may have been the only ones that matched the description.

Looking for the same thing, a two tone seat. Starting with Charcoal, want the GT500 Look, Charcoal with Red Inserts. Without Paying $1400 for the Actual GT500 seats, I guess the best option is Classic Soft Trim.
Anyone out there have the Charcoal seats with Red inserts?
I saw the Red with Black inserts but none like the GT500 yet.

Hollywoodnorth's car has the Katskin's inserts with the black widow look.
