I was talking to a dealer the other day, and he said they aren't taking orders yet, and if they did write it down and submit it, because the "bank" isn't open yet, the order may get lost. Now, is he wrong about this? I am thinking that if someone got a DORA, then that means the order has been received by Ford.

i personally haven't gotten my dora yet but i think others have. AFAIK the order banks are open... :scratch:

No DORA yet, but the salesman said he would place the order tomorrow, even though the prices are not yet out.
I'm not sure how long it takes to get a DORA once the order is placed. A day or two perhaps; but once the prices are released, and new DORA should be generated. That's what I'm told, but I'll be keeping close tabs on it to be sure.

A DORA is usually generated overnight providing the order is received prior to close of business [normally 4:30 Eastern Time] other wise it will be the following day [working day that is]
