But the dumb rant is based on a lot of truth. I've got a 91 Integra as my DD - stock except for the rims. The ricer comments don't bother me because I know they're not referring to my car. Rice doesn't even really refer to the make of a car anymore, there are plenty of Chevy Cavalier's that are riced out to the point of disgust.
hey i drive i cavalier, god i cant wait to get rid of it. get another dub

There are three kinds of imports:
Stock
Tuner: main importance, engine mods and minor body mods
Ricer: too much body mods filled with a robber's dream come true... A checklist. Main engine mods are, fart can, fart can and fart can. Looks like a shopping cart.

If you count the hp increases given by all of his stickers, fart can, yellow paint, park bench wing, Pep Boys spinners, single large windshield wiper (painted yellow), and baseball cap turned backwards, I am betting that the 'Stang has NO chance of beating him.
Sorry to break the news to you.

Nissan = 2800lbs\420hp = 6.66 lbs per horespower
Mustang = 3500lbs\800hp = 4.375 lbs per horsepower
Tell that guy to stop using "ricer math" and crunch some real numbers!
I don't know what model Nissan you were referring to, but I was generous and gave him a much lighter weight just to illustrate my point. Even at 2800lbs, he would need to have about 650hp to match the Stang.
Of course, these aren't the only variables, but it's a decent guage for comparison.

Wow this is just getting way too stereotypical for my tastes. We have gone from praising and standard up for the Mustang to bashing other cars...something that other juvenile websites are known for. We're better than this. This is a Mustang forum...not a "let's bash perceived ricer cars forum".
We obviously aren't going to like what the tuners are going to do with their car...but let them live in their little world as we live in ours. If they come to one of us talking smack, that's when we put them in their places if we can. Until then, I don't see the point of dragging down this forum with the use of "ricer" talk.

lowriders > ricers, imo. at least they look gangsta. and hyrdaulics look fun, haha. while going slow and looking ugly does not look like fun.
we shouldn't waste our time talking about other cars anyway. they never talk about mustangs on evo or suby forums. just leave them be, and let us praise the s197!!
