I am in a graduate program at MSU. One person in my cohort works at Lear and two people work at JCI. Lear is making the seats for the Mustang. JCI is making the headliner and visors.

There are some people from GM and Chrysler in my program, but unfortunately there is not anybody from Ford.

 

Also, in that picture, you can see a disposition ticket. It is upside down, but it says "Ford Motor Company" on the top of the tag (bottom in the pic) and it looks like it says "Prototype & Functional..." on the bottom of the tag (top in the pic).

Ford is very much into adopting Japanese methods (derived from Henry Ford originally). What Jsaylor talked about fits with the disposition ticket being on the seat.

 

Man those seats are ugly. I can't wait to rip them out and replace em with racing seats and 5 point harnesses.

 

Hey guys....look at the picture with the front and rear seats together. Is it me, or does that look like headrests to another set of fronts (lower right)?????
