Has anyone attempted the repair explained in the seat cover TSB? Is this something worth going to the dealer for, or is it easy to do yourself? Do I have to remove the seat to do it? Thanks in advance for the help.

If you are referring to where the seat keep coming loose under the frame (behind your feet), it looks like all they do is drill a hole through the plastic, hook it back on and then insert a cable tie to prevent it from falling again. At least that is what they did to mine. Regardless, look at it this way, if you have any other problems with the seat and you end up fixing the current issue yourself, that might just give them enough reason to void the warranty on the rest of the cover. Ya never know, some dealers are nasty. Just ask them what would happen if you repaired it yourself.

I did the repair with nothing more than a pair of needle nose pliers and a dime. The TSB explains how to do it, just take your time and go slowly.
Since I did it I've had no problems whatsoever with the seats. All the TSb does is lets the plastic tab actually snap into the space allowed for it. Seems the slot stamped out is not quite large enough so it has to be bent open just a touch more.

I was able to snap the clip on by hand, let's see if it holds. Thanks for the advice!

It won't, mine (both driver and pass. seat) keep coming off. I'll be doing the fix 'cause it's driving me nuts because its such a stupid, insignificant little thing

Before the TSB came out, I tried some double - sided tape. This has held ever since.
