May be a very stupid question here, but I'll ask anyway. Can you get a remote starter on a manual transmission?

 

To my knowledge no you can not get a remote starter on a manual only automatic.

 

Actually you can get a remote starter on manual; it's just not a good idea. But it can be done.

 

Not sure, But I thought that as long as it is a automatic you could do it with any auto.

Yes, they do make them for manuals! I'm not sure about the '05 in particular, but I can get one for my 5 speed.

 

It can be done, but the dealer won't do it.

 

You have to have it rewired to be able to start it without pushing the clutch in. You will also have to remember to always park it in neutral or else you will kill it every time you try to remote start if left in gear.
