I don't use fogs during the day, but if it's really dark and i'm on a blacktop road and can't use brights, I use them. In a 4 car caravan, driving at night, I was bringing up the rear and used them so others in my group would know I was still around. (it was a 5 hour drive and we were taking roads less traveled-darn hurricanes) I do like their look, and it's nice to recognize a fellow Stanger on the road at night.

 

I use them all the time...if you got ...flaunt it...

I enjoy compliments like everyone else and will take time to talk and answer any question anyone asks. If anything, I down play it rather that conduct myself as if my car gives me some type of high status and I usually shift the conversation to whatever the guy is driving and compliment it as well.

I've pointed out the negatives of what can be perceived as showing off for the benefit of the members not that I care how anyone wants to handle himself. If attention fills you up then roll the dice. It's your car and money.

 

I admit, I also drive with them on because they look frickin' cool. But contrary to what you posted, there is nothing SMALL about my mustang!!!

 

The funny thing is we had some good fog in VA the other day. I put the
fogs on as usual and tried them off as well. I drove to work that day with
them OFF because it was cutting my visibility. However I love them on
in the dark because I can see the cracks, holes and debris on the road
better. I also see the painted lines better and it makes driving the best
path easier.

Oh yeah, and it's cool becuase you know the person in front of you (the
person that's car crazy) knows there's a STANG behind them.
