We were driving out of the dealer with the stang for the first time and a Jeep CJ behind us was revving away. Pull out on the main road and an eclipe (from all appearances stock) sits next to us at the next light revving and staring, I thought he was going to blow it up. It hasn't stopped in the three weeks we have had her.

Man are these things magnets for retards or what?? My old 93 Z28, cammed, headers, orp, 12" drag radials and B&B exhaust never got this much attention on the street.

Yup retard magnet bigtime! I have Nissan Muranos and other SUV's racing me all the time. That said I do see M5's gunning it...and I know most BMW drivers don't do that too often so there's a plus.

I just had it happen to me today. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a big Chevy truck weaving through traffic to catch up to me.... he went flying past me and got stopped at a light turning left, I got stopped going straight. When he got his arrow he revved at me as he passed.

I've been revved on by a Ferrari, C6 Corvette, and an M3 (not latest generation). That all happened within a month of owning the car. Since then (and since all the mods), I haven't been revved at once. It sucks.

My 285 rubber got installed today. My Saleen twin screw with 8 lb pulley should be installed by early Feb. If I don't get revved on, I'm making a trip to Riverside to have some fun...

I haven't been revved at but I've had 2 Toyota somethings tailgate the crap out of me. That's since Friday, and I've only driven it twice (Michigan weather sucks and the car is in the garage).

Absolute/Positively ALL THE TIME........ I just continue on my travels, and this is what keeps my driving record right where I want it to be......and my pocketbook definitely appreciates that.

Yea, I've only had the car for 3 weeks and either have been tailed/reved by ricers or Chevy trucks. I'm not the type to ablige them, although one time I did get mad. I was in my 95 GT and this guy in a Mercedes was passing up people on the inside shoulder of the slow lane on a two lane road. I guess he thought he could make his own lane and do whatever he wanted. He scared the #$%@ out of this old couple driving like a four banger behind me almost hitting them and that really ticked me off. When he tried to do the same to me, I gave him heck. He did the same to me, but he never got past me. Not the proudest, most dignified moment in my life, and I regret losing my temper as I'm a insanely laid-back guy, but I'm sorry..........the guy had it comin. I figured, maybe when he sees someone else acting like an a-hole to him, he'll get the message.

Yup... Little ricer the other day pulled up to me at the stop light in his Honda Civic and started reving up his little coffee can exhaust... Retard was so stupid , he didn't even notice the cop :cop2: sitting at the corner... that is until the light turned green and he tried taking off :drive: like a "bat-out-of-heck"... I'm sure the cop got a laugh and doubled his ticket when he saw him trying to race a Mustang...

All the time. Monday night an older 6-cylinder with dual exhaust went flying by me, and had the guts to turn on some neon lights under the car. I guess he thought he was cool.

Me either and I'm starting to feel left out.

I figured that after the Borlas went on I would get some play. With the 4.10's I sure sound like I'm looking for trouble. Truthfully, sometimes I am. Not a race necessarily, but just someone to play with. You know, get the juices flowing.

I've had more people rev on me in my F-150. Where's the love!

Ahh, the good ole ricer fly by...that has got to be the most annoying thing about racing ricers. It's so rude.

Anyone in Austin, Tx...where do yall get challenged at? I live near the Arboretum and it's sooo quiet around here....=/

Hey, good for you seaclam. I'm the same way, but here in Tulsa we have many (inexplicable if you asked me) one-lane-to-two-lanes-back-to-one-lane at intersections. So of course the a-holes who seem to be in such a frickin' hurry get in the far lane and try to beat you off the light before the merge. And 9 times out of 10 they proceed to turn LEFT in front of you immediately afterwards. So even though I'm pretty laid back, I don't let them in. It pisses them off, but hey, they know the lane ends!!

I only got beat once in my Mustang by a turboed Eclipse. That thing was stupid fast.

I had a Z28 rev me on the highway...while there was another car 50 yds in front of me. Nothing since or before then.

My coworker, with a '05 V6, gets challenged all the time.

This beats them all: at a traffic light I had a soccer mom in a van trying to race me. I couldn't believe it, it was such a surreal moment.
