Quarter window discoloration

I've posted this on another forum and I am posting it here to see if any other owners have noticed the same thing on their quarter windows.
I've noticed a discoloration (not condensation) at the bottom edges of my rear quarter windows. It is more pronounced on the right rear quarterglass. I know that on occasion I will clean the area underneath that edge(that's where the rainwater pools)...but it's beginning to look pretty bad. Anyone else notice this on their quarter windows?

I've attached a pic of it (look at the very bottom of the edge.. the lightish gray area)...

Haven't seen it before but it looks like maybe an issue with the black shaded area. Moisture getting between it and glass? If your still under waranty I'd get it in for a look. If not, take it to a window place and get their opinion. Maybe a good reason to get louvers?

crucut, I went to a few Ford dealers this afternoon and checked some of the older Stangs (i.e. 05/06) and sure enough, some of them were showing some of the same thing. I think it's the rainwater that pools there and slowly over time dissolves the black tinting (or paint) behind the bottom of the quarter window glass. That's all I can think of. I guess I will have to live with it.
