OK....I would never give two ****s what anyone else thinks about my car, house ect.......lets all face it the world is full of idiots......We have two stangs and we drive them proudly and loudly. As for your neighbor sounds like he needs some anger management help and here in TN when they get in your face we call it an @ss whoopin......so I say be proud of what you have and drive it like you stole it......

I've had my GT for a little over 2 months and I've already had 4 people ask me if I'm going through a mid-life crisis or something. Sure I have two small kids and a Mustang but I'm only 34!! I hope this isn't mid-life.

Two of them were jealous neighbors and the other two were jealous friends. I've wanted this car since I was like 10 plain and simple. Funny thing is, my wife's more ****ed off at these people than I am because she knows how hard we've worked for it and how long I've waited for it.

Just smile and say, "Yep, and boy am I having fun." Really ticks 'em off.

Then there are the looks I get when I have my oldest daughter along.

Ah, the "that dirty old cradle robber" look. Having two boys I hope I never see that one!

Sounds like your neighbor has his own issues considering this is all over a dog in his driveway.

And yeah, I get more or less the same thing with mine. Some people say I got it to impress the ladies, other's that I'm compensating. People at work can't understand how I bought so much car to only go the speed limit most of the time. I've explained time and time again, A) I've always wanted a Mustang, B) because it's a fun car, C) who cares who I impress with the car, D)and on normal streets the real fun in this car isn't going fast, it's getting up to speed!

Still, they think what they want to. But hey, what are you going to do? Just drive it like you always do and the people who know you will see and know that you're not some ***hole in a sports car compensating for his insecurities. Whether they believe it or not, some people do buy good looking fast cars because they actually like the car and not the attention they think they're getting...

The only negative comment I got related to my car was 'you should have got a stick' from one of my co-workers, but other then that I haven't had any problems.
If someone had something negative to say about me or my car I can care less...I work hard for what I own, so if I want to spend $30,000 on a car it's my business, nobody elses.

I've noticed one thing lately on the freeway...

People for the most part are alot nicer about letting me over in front of them and I'm sure it's because of the car. When I had my import, noone gave it any respect at all...

I have had a few comments lately like "it must be nice" but they always say that about me when i spend money.... after all I dont have to pay for a house, homeonwers insurance, property tax, house upkeep, pool upkeep, home insurance and earthquake insurance.....

They seem to forget that wehn you can't afford a 500k+ house that you can afford to have a nice apartment and a new car occasionally wiht some toys for it...
