I was going to do stripes on the silver I ordered, but will probably have some type of paint job on the redfire I bought. Just not sure what yet.

How about getting the stripes made at a sign shop? There, you have total freedom with design and colour...you can get them made at any width, and they have many colours to choose from. If you're confident, you could buy them RTA (ready to apply), then put them on yourself. It's not that hard, just apply them wet so you don't get bubbles.
You could cut the vinyl yourself too, but you'd have no way to tape them, so it wouldn't work too well.

I think flame racing stripes would look cool. Kinda like how Chip Foose did it on one of the cars they overhauled
like this about half way down http://www.superchevy-web.com/features/0407sc_tv/

You can't install thick stripes on the new stang while they are wet. There are too many curves. Trust me, I know. I had to put them on dry and you have to be a pro to do this.....well, unless you like bubbles then I say go for it.

The bubbles should disappear after a while, from the sun 'molding' them to the car. You can poke the bigger ones with a thin, sharp needle, then press towards the hole to let the air out.

i was thinkin about stripes but after i saw one of the jobs a dealer did (striped over the car that didnt go down the bumpers, and had a spoiler) they charged $2000!!!! their stripes were crappy. makes me want to get them painted but if any aftermarket stripes r gonna be like that then im not getting them. i wish i was able to show u guys but ud have to see them in person.

I haven't got anything done yet. I have an idea for it. Gotta wait till after surgery to get it done though. I won't be doing a lot on it. Just a little something on the back end for now.
REALLY want some Mike Lavallee flames though. Maybe I can afford that in a few years.

I checked out a local paint company yesterday. I was looking to get mine painted like the Steeda car (or swingle's car). The guy only wanted $565 to paint the hood, mirrors, spoiler, and the area between the tail lights.
