Our Orders
#1
I went to my local dealer today to find out what I already knew that my Mustang had not been scheduled it was still in the clean/unscheduled phase. Fine what I did find out was the customer that was in front of me for an order his car is scheduled and slated to be produced on Sept 13th, fine. What the GM told me is that in the next couple of weeks that Ford is going to come though the system to pick the next round of Mustangs to be produced. I remember seeing here on a post a the sheet that talked about Ford was picking at that time the Mustangs slated to be produced the first three weeks of the production cycle. From what I can gather very soon for all of us who have Stangs waiting to be scheduled should hear something soon about our cars as Ford schedules Mustangs for weeks 4 and forward. It made since to me hearing that since I had read a lot about that from this site so that seems to be good news for all of us waiting to hear about our cars. For me the only possible downside is that Ford sent them a memo asking them to do a beak of 50/50 split of V6 models and GT models. My dealer has a V6 stock on order and my car as well. Like he told me today I hope they don't decided to select the stock V6 over my retail order. My question from the forum people who work at dealership have you heard the same thing about the next production que info about them going after the next allocation set in the next couple of weeks?
