Just got back from the dealer and left my deposit. The dealer thinks 8 to 12 weeks but I am thinking longer. Hopefully it will come sometime in June. Went with Redfire after i saw one at another dealer (who wanted 3k over sticker) and loved the color. Bought with my X-Plan - now all I can do is wait !

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with info over the past few weeks. This site rocks !

 

I'm just about a week ahead of you with my order, so let's see how a west coast dealer does compared to an east coast one! B)

Yes - I ordered from Verner - Cadby Ford in Fairfield. Sales Rep thinks 8 to 12 weeks but It is what it is. Saw a Redfire at Lacaridi (SP) Ford on Rt. 22 in Watchung, they wanted $3000K OVER MSRP. Love the color after I compared it to a Torch Red GT over at Bound Brook Ford. They too wanted 3K over !

I'm going in Wednesday to get my DORA - sales manager said it's no problem. Hope to have it the first week of June.

Not much of an update, but just talked to the dealership and got my order number. Things seem to be proceeding as expected. I'll probably call them late next week and try to get the VIN in order to have the joy of calling the automated customer service number!

 

Anyone Confirm this:

Ordered Sat. and went today to get my DORA (dealer said that it was not a problem)

HOWEVER - they will not have it for me until tomorrow - said that you can only print it out once w/o going back into the system and typing in a ton of info to get it again ?!?!?!? - (something happened when they tried to print it out on Monday)

So they will have it for me tomorrow. Also told me that a GT VERT order went in the same time as mine (ahead of me) but my order was deff. at ford and in the works.

IS THIS A LINE OF B.S. ??? He knoes I will be there everyday until the DORA is in my hands

 

Could be true - I'd give em the day.
