Hi, I'm new here, found this site while researching the 2005 mustang. I ordered my 2005 GT premium today. Redfire, 5 speed auto, dark charcol interior, upgraded interior, upgraded wheels, anti theft junk. Dealer says won't be in till November. What a nice looking car. I like the fact that it looks like the 68 Mustangs. I always liked the old cars but as I get older I want something with air conditioning, nice stereo, nice handling etc. So am selling my old cars for something with a warranty.

I feel the same way about classics...I love them to death...however I don't wanna pour 20K+ into a classic, when I could have gotten a new car with better overall features.

 

I've $40,000 on two old cars which was fine but at 54 years old am getting a little tired of working and finding parts for these old cars.

 

I got my order V6 Sport sonic blue 5speed auto.

 

This new Mustang has the best of both worlds... classic styling with current convenience. Can't argue with that.

 

I ordered today also, V6 Deluxe, Satin Silver, Sport Pkg (Black Stripes) , Light Graphite Cloth Seats, Automatic, Interior Upgrade Pkg.

Dealer had no thoughts on when I might get it. I think it has alot to do with IF the first ones get off the line in Sept, but I am a patient person.
