Ordered on May 10th, No Game?
#1
I talked to a dealer in Vancouver, Canada, who says he is the largest dealer in Canada. And he says that all 2005 orders after March 23rd are not going to be scheduled. He says that no company should have been taking orders after that day.
So I wonder, how is it that I just ordered a 2005 last week, May 10th. My dealer didnt say there would be a problem. He said it would take 3-8 weeks. He didnt do the order right away, so I don't have a VIN # or anything yet.
Am I being played? Or is it possible that this car is going to actually get built?

I personally think this:
If you do get it, the dealer made a deal with the devil. Or has one spot of allocation left.
or
Feed you alot of bull. Then, they will come about and say they are going to make your car an '06, and you will get it in Oct-Nov.

I placed my order on May 7th (and called customer service with my VOC info to confirm), and my dealer claims to have 2 allocations left (well, on the 7th he did). We'll see.
They told me 8-10 weeks turn around.

my dealer ordered my 2nd one on April 18th, and it got scheduled already... they had 1 allocation left... although mine is kind of special circumstances so i can't really say for sure.

ISELFORD,
You mentioned 'build-out' allocations (on another forum). You said you are going to get 8 more.
So what is build-out? Does that just mean the final set of orders? But these are all going to actually get built as 2005?
