Two weeks ago:

"As of April 7th, your unit is scheduled to be built, week of April 25th"

One week ago:

"As of April 7th, your unit is scheduled to be built, week of May 2nd"

Today:

"As of April 7th, your unit is scheduled to be built, week of May 9th"

What's going on. I realize this is much better that C/U but come on.....

My dealer tells me that they don't even have a VIN yet and no build date. I called my salesman and asked him to give it a higher priority code, it has a 13 right now. Problem is that I have the old vehicle sold at a good price and the buyer expects it mid-May. I asked for a rental until mine is delivered. We shall see. I really like my dealer and I feel they will do what they can for me.

Anyone else run into this pushing back of the build date? ( I hate the robot lady... ..)

 

I can not tell you if my order has been pushed back because the robot lady keeps kickin' me out to an analyst once I have given all the information. :bang: :bang:

Off to call the dealer for the VIN#.

I checked last night and was still on for the 25th but now you make me nervous.

 

I don't think your dealer can change your priority to any hgher than it is right now. Basically, a priority of 13 means you have a priority of 10, with 2 more people ahead of you also with a priority of 10.

Just checked and mine is still scheduled for the 25th.....

Just got the VIN# from the dealer! Woohoo!

Maybe it has something to do with them grouping like bodies/trim levels together for a build. I have heard they do that. I was originally at 5/2 and got moved up to 4/25. It seems like a number of GT verts are being built next week.

 

I agree with Tim. I don't know what else would be causing that.

 

Good ppint about the grouping. It seems like alike colors have been getting built the past few weeks as well. Maybe just coincidence.

 

Still the 25th for me also.
