Can an order be changed after it has been serialized.

I am talking about any types of changes like exterior color or any of the options.

 

no it can only be changed while it is clean/unscheduled. youve got a vin and your stuck

 

NOT TRUE! Unless it is a controlled commodity changes can be made up until production is locked in; normally 10 WORKING days prior to the build week.

I have made numerous changes over the years on scheduled units. Some things you can not change are rapid spec packages or body codes.

 

It actually can be changed briefly after it is serialized. It's kind of hit or miss, you put in the changes and it will say they are pending approval. It will take a day or two to find out if it takes.
