Sorry if I'm mistaken, but I thought I read that the '08 Order Guide was supposed to come out today and the Order Banks open on the 16th. I haven't been able to find it anywhere, are these dates wrong? I'm waiting to order an '08 on the 16th and would like to see what the Order Guide has in it.

On 12 April, the 08 GT 500 order guide was released on the Ford site that the dealers have access to, but then it was pulled along with several other order guides. It is posted on this site under the 2008 GT 500 section.

The 08 mustang order guide has not been posted yet. But when it is, it will most likely be posted on here very soon thereafter.

Based on last year's release of the order guide 2 days prior to the order banks opening, I had hoped the same would be true this year. So far that has not been the case (~2hours left).

Hopefully it will be out sooner than the 2006 guide, which came out 12 days after the order banks opened.

 

Where can we get the Job 2 07 order guide (or the latest version)?

 

I've never seen a Job 2 07 order guide (not to say that one doesn't exist)

 

The "latest" order guide I saw had a revision date of June 2006. I wanted to collect them for posterity!

Where did you get your stripes and did you do them yourself?

I'm looking at the gloss silver at Baltimore Street Mods, the local Ford dealership said they can put them on.

 

This is the MY07Job2 one I have and used to order mine last month

I have baltimore street mods vinyl, and it is fading badly, I would save up and get them painted on. Vinyl is a waste of money when you can save a few more hundred and get paint. I think with labor I paid about 600-700, was quoted at 1200, so you may just want to save up if you really like stripes.

 

Mine are painted on, the color is "Cashmere". It is the pearl finish used on the Lincolns, it has a real nice sparkle to it looks great with the metalic of the Vista Blue. The dealer did it, ran about 1500, it is a tri coat process that takes more work than just a solid color. The stripes are 10" wide with a 2" gap. The dealer wanted another 1500 to do the bumpers, that is where I backed out. The reason is the bumpers have to be pulled to paint them

 

For some reason, Ford isn' ready for it yet. It wasn't on the dealer site today at all. Only the GT500 one was. Don't know.

 

The 08 GT500 guide returned to FMCDealer today. All the guides right now are not available as they are doing maintainence to the site, who knows, they may be adding more guides today....
