The Newest Line From My Dealer
Today is order status day for my dealership. So I always call to see how much longer my order is going to be in limbo. My salesman told me he would get with the sales manager before he could put me on hold I asked him if my car was 1 of the 3 that was left to be allocated to them before the end of the year and he said," We've only got 1 left to be allocated before the 1st of the year and your order is seperate." I told him that that the sales manager told me that my order was 1 of the 3 that was left and he kind of back pedaled and said "I'm just a sales man. He's the sales manager and he would know." Sounded fishy to me. But anyway he got with the sales managerr and suprise no change. Finally I spoke with the salesmanager and he said he thought the car would be here by mid December meanwhile the order is not even scheduled. I smell b.s. What do ya'll think?
Major BS dude. I'm not going to see my car until mid December, I've had a VIN since like 20th ish of Oct, and I just found out my car will be finished with the build on 6 Dec. If you don't even have a VIN yet, welcome to next year before you'll see one now... :notnice:
Ryan....when did you place your order??? B) I ordered on Nov. 1st, and I don't have a pulled order as yet for a build date, and I had spoiler delete, which evidently is a 'helping along' kinda thing right now.

I think you should do this to your 'salesman':
Then, politely demand from the sales manager to see written verification that your car has indeed been ordered. If the sales manager can not do that, then do THIS to him:
Following that, go to a different dealer, get it ordered and in writing and don't give up. Sooner or later, SOMEone will be able to verify that you have a car ordered.
Or... you can start perusing the lots and seeing what is hitting the ground. You just MIGHT get lucky!
