So I basically talk with my dealer via MSN everyday for my 06 order...ordered my 05 in March and now I've been bumped to 06 - I think he's as bummed as I am.

Anyways, he got the order guide last week for Canada and shared it with me so that I could pick all my options...I gave him the details on Friday and every day since then first thing in the morning he's tried to place the order, but the system keeps telling him "body type not available for processing". Anyone know what the deal is with this? How does one "force" the system??

I'm desperate to get my order in ASAP...any advice would be great!!

I have no idea but I would suggest you PM "ISellFord" as he works for a dealer and has forced his system to get an 06 order in. He posted about it a week or two ago but didnt go into details. He seems very knowledgable and nice and I am sure he would help you out. BTW when did your dealer findo ut yours wouldnt be built? I ordered the same week as you and am still c/u and my dealer hasnt heard a thing.

Well, it was a combination of my decision and their zone rep telling the dealership to basically downsell their customers to V6's or to warn people they may be bumped...given that info, and that I was still C/U I made the final decision to just bump myself (I was forced by Ford, but it was MY decision). I just wanted the waiting overwith and all the uncertainty...i figured by the time I get the 05, I could have waited a month, gotten a whole extra year on paper, and spoiler delete and 18" rims.
