Naked Hood

I am for the lean, mean, clean and classy look of the stock hood -- no goofy, tack on cod-pieces for me, especially some non-functional lump like the current GT.
I could, however, be swayed by the hood on the '05 Concept Stang, which was refined, restrained, perfectly integrated into the underlying design rather than looking like an afterthought and was (presumably) functional.
The '05 has great basic form and lines and doesn't need a bunch of macho gingerbread cluttering it all up to make a presence. I prefer a look of tasteful and classy understatement that commands knowing respect rather than braying overdesign and gaudy adornamentation trying to demand purile attention.
