Thumbs up

How does the shifter feel? Have any of you done any hard driving yet?

I've been wondering how this new remote linkage setup will feel...

One word: Awesome.

Don't worry, its extremely precise and smooth. The clutch is light. It will be a pleasure to drive.

Excellent Dan, thanks!!

I know they've been using it in the SVT-Contour and a couple other models for a while. My friend with and SVT-C has had to tighten bolts on it a few times.

Now, another question - my friend with an 03 Mach-1 has had trouble getting into 2nd when driving hard. Since we've all got the 3650, I wonder if this little issue will rear it's ugly head on us as well. I know there's a patch for the tranny, maybe they've incorporated it into this new car already. [hope]

I didn't notice that problem when I drove the Mach

Anyway, this car has no problem getting into second after hard acceleration and I've actually done it.

hehe....I test drove it. Babied it for the most part. But I did accelerate pretty hard on that one occassion. Enough to lose traction at the top end of first. B)
