Motor Trend Update (05)
#21
The new Car and Driver (october issue) has reviews for the Ford 500 and Freestyle already. I think that most magazines will have reviews of the 05 stang on their november issues which comes out the last week of september/first week of october. so about one more month till we can read any official reviews.

What I love is the fact that the Ford GT ISSSS the underdog...and to do how well it does against those 2 MONSTERS...is amazing.
Its not the price guide...its got 126 little short blurbs about future cars 05/05.
The mustang has nothing new.
Still has the old 202 V6 rating ..etc.
Not even worth posting.
So 1 month from now (possibly a week sooner) the MT with Stang stuff will be out

Does anyone remember/know in which months does MT do their "Car" "Truck" of year issues??? What month did the F-150 get it?
I used to be a subscriber back in the 80' when MT ran them in the Jan issue, then C&R bumped up their 10 Best issue to Nov back then so the MT issues started coming earlier, man I remember I used to get like 3 C&R issues every late June/early July (July,Aug,Sept)

Probably go something like this...
1st review: Utterly amazing, the old war horse has still got it, can't believe the power and handling they got out of the 3v V8 and live axle, soundly trumps the sorely missed camaro
2nd review: needs more power, plasticky interior, ergonomics not fit for a video game car, live axle is antiquated and needs to be put to rest. Could this be the end of the pony car!
3rd review: Utterly amazing, the old war horse has still got it, can't believe the power and handling they got out of the 3v V8 and live axle, soundly trumps the sorely missed camaro, needs more power, plasticky interior, ergonomics not fit for a video game car, live axle is antiquated and needs to be put to rest. Could this be the end of the pony car! We are hard pressed to pick between the lada and the mustang.
