I just picked her up last week. Have put almost a thousand miles on her. All I can think of when I'm not driving (which is often - I live in NYC), I'm thinking about the next time I'll get to. I'm putting SLPs and Zaino on tomorrow. Love the Redfire!

Here, finally got a decent pic of mine.
Working on getting it to shine like a mirror.
(Can anyone tell me how to get it to post the pic bigger, like the one right before mine. It always makes thumbnail for me. Is that the "premium" stuff you gotta pay for here???)

Hey are those scoops functional? I think they would look good on my vert. How much and where did you get them?
You can see a picture of my Vert on my gallery.
Keep these out of the ditch and away from trees.

Hey Jack,
Nice pic of your sweet ride. It cerainly looked like a marvelous day when you snapped it. The rich blue sky and puffy blue clouds help set off your car well i feel imo. Looks like you know about the rule of thirds and nose room when shooting cars.
Your sentiments about always thinking of the next time you can drive her is the same as mines and probably many others. Man, the looks and smiles you get along with thumbs up with your head turner must be fun. I mean, it's like we are giving other ppl, non-mustang owners, a thrill when we pass by.
We vicariously take elderly ppl back to the '60s. My Dad's boss has owned Mustangs ever since they were produced. You can't imagine the look on his face when he sees an '05. Priceless.
I go out to the garage all the time to see my baby when I'm home. And I find myself thinking of excuses to take her out.
I feel the urge to wash and wax her when I already have. I fight the urge to put on just one more coat of Zaino Z2 Pro and Z8 on her.
I have to think that for many ppl, if they are an average person driving say an SUV, truck. Camry, Accord etc., desirous thoughts of an '05 Mustang have crossed their minds.
It seems to me the '05 Mustang has such a universal appeal, like no other car, to young and old, male or female.
Ain't she a beaut?

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, she's a real head turner, even more so now that I put SLPs on her this weekend. With that kind of grumble, she's impossible to ignore. I have been trying to wax her since I got her but so far have been unable to - called into work and such things.. Grrr. Hopefully next weekend. I have my full Zaino Show Car package in my trunk. I'm parking in an outdoor space in a garage, so I have to get a cover, too, to keep the shine beautiful.
Enjoy your baby. Thanks again!

You have quite a heritage of Mustangs. You are a true officianato. How do you rate this one compared to some of your old Muscle?
BTW beautiful job on the paint. What are the wheels?

I would have to say that the '05 rates as my favorite, but it would be a close call between it and my first Mustang , a black '71 MACH I with the 4V 351C. The car was in bad shape, but I was 17 and that car was just so evil I remember on the test drive, I had never driven a muscle car before and when I was pulling out of the apartment complex turning right I punched it and did a 180 facing back where I was pulling out. This was not intentional but I couldn't wipe the grin off my face and gave the guy cash on the spot.
Strange thing is that my new '05 would most likely dust the old MACH.
The wheels are 18X9 Chrome Bullitts with BFG KDW2 255/45-18's all around.
Thanks,
Doug
