dswhalen, Paint job looks great. The wheels and tires look great, can you give us specifics on them...brand, sizes, etc....

Here's a pic of me and my new GT. Got it Friday afternoon, this picture was taken Saturday. I LOVE this car! The color is amazing, and the interior is perfect! I love the way it sounds, rides, accelerates, everything.

I got the car in Des Moines, and today I'm in Denver for the night. more than 800 miles on it already, and it has been a blast. Tomorrow I drive her through the mountains, on US 40 instead of the interstate. I hope it's as fun as it looks.

Thursday I'll get home to Seattle, and Friday the mods begin.

Enjoy the pic, there are more on my website.

Thanks for the compliment. I had a local paint shop (with an excellent repu.) paint it. I took the cover from the Ford Racing Catalog and said do this. We consulted with paint chips and came up with the color.

I bought the Cragar SS from Discount Tires. I am using the Zero Nero's that came with the car.

The Cragars are not the old steel ones but are new chromed aluminum. I had to buy the spinner hubs from the old style. The screws were too short and we simply had to get longer screws to hold them on.

The wheels get so much attention. Only the old schoolers know what hey are, but I here, Cragar's, wow I haven't seen those in years.

The car is a rolling car show. We get a lot of attention. Go figure.

Just think, a car without a shovel nose, molded headlights, and a GM look?

The other day a punk in a Japanese car reved his coffee can muffler trying to get me to race it. I took one look at the 4 doors, the shopping cart handle on the trunk and laughed. The punk with the white ball cap (worn backwards) didn't get the race he wanted.

Why prove what you already know.

Hi, Well I usually just lurk when I read this message board, but we finally got our V6 in and I wanted to post some pictures. It's Windveil blue with the pearl gold stripe and parchment interior.

I love the suspension. Did the exhaust help the speed or just the sound? It looks like the suspension lowered the car and with the 18's it looks like a dub car.

On my GT Vert I kept the stock tires and went Cragar SS to keep the retro look. But the coupes look great with the race look.

Any other mods coming?

The exhaust increased the power as well. i got a new intake hose and whatnot and i am up to about 330hp. definately lowering the car a little helped make the wheels like a little bigger, even though they are 18's. it also filled up the wheel well really nice without slamming the car to the ground

How does it effect the overall ride?

Are your windws tinted? If so, what is the shade color and percentage.
