Here is my Gt I've had since late February .You can easily see most of the changes that I've made except for the sequential turn signals. In Canada all stangs come with a spoiler so having it removed is sort of unique here.

Nice ride, dude! This is one of the most tastefully modded GTs I've seen. Not over the top - just enhances the already great design. It looks like a special edition Ford might do.

Ducktail, 18" wheels, wider tires, lowering and exhaust (and maybe that new engine manifold cover) is about all the GT needs to look really terrific.

Car looks great, can you give some more detaills on your 3rd brakelight. Ease of installation? cost? make and where to buy?
Also, is the CDC spoiler fiberglass? And are you very satisfied with the fit and price/ I am considering the street scene ducktail with the brakelight hole cutout, but I like the clean look of the CDC, especially on a retro car like the mustang!

Dave,

The third brakelight was $45. I purchased the CDC ducktail and brake light from Partshopper
They were cheaper than buying from CDC in price and in shipping cost.
CDC provides a template and detailed installation instructions. I did not install it myself. I had my dealership's body shop do it.

The ducktail is fiberglass.

I am VERY satisfied.

I just looked at your signature..your car arrived with the wrong color?! I think that I would have to pull someone's fingernails out for that error.

Is there an indent if you order without the emblem, or is it smooth?
And yes, this car has been a painful experiance so far!

Dave,

There is no indent when ordered without the pony.

Is your dealer going to give you something to make up for the screwup?

Doubt it...It looks like the dealer did not screw this up. Order was changed in the regional office after it was 3 months old

Hey I'm new to your site. I would like to share these photo's. I bought this on March 30th in SoCal and drove it home to St. George, UT. I had it custom painted and then put Cragar SS with triple blade knocker hubs. Deluxe, Graphite Leather, Shaker 500, AT, Interior Upgrade. Got a ticket in AZ doing 103 but the cop was so excited to see the new mustang that he wrote the ticket down to 85 in a 75.

Tell me how you like the paint.

OK. No mods yet. Supposedly my louvers have been shipped. Should arrive any day now and then I have to paint them. Then I'll add the 68 GT emblems on the side. Hope to find some front Coral to go around the horse that's chrome like my 68, and waiting on a flip-open gas cap. Was thinking about the rear quad tail pipe extensions that were on the 68, though they were smaller than the current exhaust on my 2005. Not sure how I'll mod that.

At any rate, that's me above getting my Senior Class Picture taken in 1986 and then my recreation of the same reversed yesterday. Man I'm in love with retro...........

Well you'll need one of these and this and you should have some nice flashbacks. Good luck on the mods.
