Hey Mike, that's my car. How did you get it? Just joking. Welcom to the site. Although that is the what mine will look like on the exterior. It's scheduled to be built the week of 1/3 & out the door at 1/10. Hoping that's true. How about posting some pixs of the interior.

Again congrats on the new set of wheels. I LOVE the Mineral Grey and am stoked that they offered it again this year.

Happy Holidays
here's a few interior pictures.
One of the seat I'm trying to show the mustang in the seats. I really like that in the cloth seats.

Kera, you should have beat me to the dealer. Bought the first one that came in.
Hope you get yours soon.

Ron,

They did not take any pics but thats a good idea. However, it should be oon record but at the time I didnt think about getting some kind of paperwork proof. I must say that I am glad mine got out as well. I dont know if I could have waited any longer.

Those are the emblems that I am talking about. Unfortunately they do come with the locating pins but I will be cutting those off and sticking them on. I could not bare drill any holes myself.

The '67 was one beautiful car. I can see how you miss it. Thats back in the days when they built real cars!

Well, again best of luck with the repaint. Let us know who it turns out.

Hello again everyone. I like the new pics. I have one question for all of you with the automatics. I have a 2000 GT now with auto. I kept going back and forth between ordering an auto ot a manual. Decided on auto because I simply get tired of it with all the traffic I have to put up with sometimes. Anyway...back to my question. Can anyone tell if it responds differently than per say my model or any of the last generation mustangs. I heard it is a lot better being a 5 speed. I just want to have some defense when my friends make fun of the fact that I have another Mustang GT with an auto trans. I would appreciate any info. Thanks and keep up the good pics.

PS...I love all the colors but I can't get enough of that Sonic Blue. It is much more popular than I thought it would be.

I test drove an auto V6 before I purchased my 5 speed GT and I didnt see much difference but I must say that it drove great! I do see your point when it comes to the traffic as I get frustrated many times myself. However, when it comes to a Mustang either a V6 or GT or any sports car with some power in the engine it must be a 5 speed. You can just feel and control the power much better and its just becomes a much more fun car to drive. I would know from experience as I drove an auto for many years and I have now switched to a 5 speed for the last 3.5 years. Let me also say that I am not one of those that gets crazy behind the wheel either. Finally I will add that if the dealship would have told me that they would give me $5000.00 discount on a auto, I would have still gone with a 5 speed on the GT. Again, a 5 speed is just a different ball game.

But you are to decide on what makes you 100% happy. Afterall, you will be driving the car on a daily basis and not your friends so dont worry about them. There probably jelous that you have one. Tell them that a 5 speed or a auto is not what makes you cool and that you are happy with your auto and thats all that matters. End of story.

fash0980, I don't know how the auto compares with previous generation mustangs but the one in my GT is pretty darn awesome. I really wanted a standard but my only choice in stick was a silver with no IUP and 20 inch chrome rims that looked pretty foolish on the car. I test drove it though, like the stick, very short throws and nice clutch feel. The auto is very nice however and the more I drive it the less I regret not getting a stick. I'm babying it right now for the most part but I let temptation get the better of me yesterday. Not *quite* full throttle run to 80ish, it was constant power, the auto shifts instantly you never feel lag. I'd bet unless your going up against a very experianced driver the auto is going to beat a stick in short runs. If you already like auto, you definately wont be dissappointed. I haven't had too many automatics in my life time but from my experiance this is the best I've driven.

Congratulation!! Both cars are beautiful. Good selection on the color and wheels. Im starting to like that color even more now. Enjoy it! I bet you are spending a lot of time in the garage with 2 beauties like that.

David,
I have spent alot of time on the Cuda for sure, it is all original but for rims and tires. Both are tucked away now as winter is here.
I loaded the Mustang down with everythink but prim. rims and locking lug nuts.
I am thinking about silver Lamans strips but the car is so good looking the way it is I'm not sure if I want to touch it.

The shacker 1000 is great!

Looks like you have spent some time on the cuda. It seems to be in great shape. The rims you have look great on the GT. I dont care for the prim. wheels at all. I could have gotten them for another $100.00 I feel they take something away from the car. I also felt that the rims we have give those cars an even more clasic look. I see where your coming from with the stripes. I have thought about black stripes on my silver GT but hate to touch it right now as well. I like your color of choice though on the silver stipes rather than black.

Its funny how cars seem to be going back to the old body styles. Some beautiful cars were built back then.
