To get the new stang in Windveil blue. Couldn't be happier!! This was not my 1st color choice (wanted min. grey) but had to settle to have the car right away 2 weeks ago. Really like the color now, and had a lot of positive comments on it.

Alot better than your cougar. I must admit, I never liked those cars.

 

Adrenalin and all other stripers- if you got GT300 or GT350 etc side rocker stripes, are you going to de-badge the GT logo off the fenders?

IMHO, it looks kinda strange with two GTs- like the Lincoln Town Car with a Lincoln badge in the grille ad the same Lincoln badge as a hood ornament directly above it.

With Jay's money he could probably have someone park the car for him between the lines.

 

Getting rid of the GT badge would require body work since there are 2 alignment holes underneath it. I do not want to weld in holes, bondo, sand and repaint the fenders. Personally I don't think it looks that bad.

Hello all. I have been looking at this website for months now, but this is my first post. I have a 2000 Black Mustang GT now. I have loved all of the pics of yours...especially the Sonic Blue ones. Last night I ordered a Sonic Blue Mustang GT with Dark Charcoal interior with the upgrade package. I got everything except the shaker 1000 and the upgraded wheels. As of right now they are saying it is sceduled to be built on Jan. 17th but it might be later. I can't wait. Just wanted to say I love all of the pics, and I can't wait to get mine. Adrenalin, your mustang looks incredible. I would love to get stripes on mine. You said they are 10 3/4" wide but what is the dim of the space between?

It looks like it's 1" wide. Most of the gaps are either 1" or 2" wide. (anyone try 1-1/2"?)
On a side note, if you just ordered last night, there's no way for your dealer to give you a scheduled build date yet. He's just guessing. I hate it when they do that. Why is it so hard for dealers to be honest?

 

Congrats on ordering the Sonic Blue, that colour has always been my favourite. Anyway, the gap is 1", that was the stripes line up perfectly with the bottom of the front spolier.
