Here is the elusive 05 cobra.......

That snake's not watching the road; he's watching the competition vanish in the distance! :headbang:
It took my father a good 30 to figure out how he wanted them to face.

I looooooooooooove my car!

PS- Shannon, WHITE_ Sweet!
I just realized they are on backwards

She was delivered to me late Monday night after dark, didn't get around to taking some good pictures until this afternoon. Brad, if you still need Sonic Blue GT pics, you can use these if you would like.

Has Sport Appearance Package but no decal
And how sweet it looks without them!
Completely have to agree. At first I was kinda pissed off. I thought that they had somehow just charged me for the spoiler, but I found out that I actually was CHARGED for the entire package. I figured I'd lay the hammer down and make them put the deacal on. Then I realized that I really like the car more with out it. It has a nice clean look. I've never NEVER been a fan of spoilers on cars, particualarly this car. Yet, it has grown on me. I actually enjoy seeing it in the rearview window. Can't figure out WHY, but I actually DO like seeing it. Guess it just LOOKS sporty (man I hate saying that because it sounds so freekin' RICEY! LOL! :bang: )

First 2 things that HAVE to get done are window tint and some nice new mats to protect the floor.

Thankfully I have a birthday coming!

This is one of only two GT's in the Bahamas. I ordered in mid-September and took delivery 12-13-04. I'm just lovin' it.

You live in the Bahamas and you got your GT

I guess the hurricanes balance things out a little

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has a close-up photo of the wheel locks used on the standard painted aluminum wheels for the '05.

I ordered a set through the dealer, however, something just doesn't look appropriate (appearance-wise). They fit but . . .

Thanks
Ron

Here's mine. Not sure if they are different for the standard vs machined. The key fits in a 13/16" socket.

Thanks Chris,

Yup, it does look like they're the same as the one's in your picture. I'll get a better idea on how they look installed when the car gets back from the paint shop next week. I think there is more exposure with the other wheels so if I don't like the way they look I'll try for a more solid one.

The lockers that fit our 05 Escape are pretty much the same but are counter-sunk similar to the way yours are.

Thanks for the picture.
Happy New Year!!

Ron

Picked her up today after a 3 week ordeal with the dealer. Was trucked in from Arkansas to Omaha. 65 miles on the odometer when I drove it off the lot.

Sonic Blue GT w/Automatic, Shaker 500, IUP with My Color, Spoiler Delete (not my choice but I'm surprised how much I am glad I don't have it now), side air bags, Active Anti-Theft.

Went straight from the Dealer to the tire store to put on the Dunlop M3 winter tires. Wanted the Bullits but took the upgraded wheels, they'll be my winter wheels. Looking for something like Cragar SS's for summer.

Tuesday have appointment for 20% tint all around and silver stripes, will post updated pics when I get them.

BTW, so far all my mp3 disks work fine with the shaker, keeping my fingers crossed.
