Keep those new car pix coming! I'm getting the fever to buy, but I want to hold off until spring. I'm driving a car with all-wheel drive and thought it would be wise to slug out the winter in a car with reliable footing. My '96 GT was a little sloppy in the snow. I don't believe traction control was an option that year. Can any of you '05 Mustang GT owners offer reassurance that the traction control and new weight distribution help in inclement weather? I value your input, since I'm determined to get a Mustang, but I'm dreading driving it sideways in wet, snowy, slushy or sloppy weather! We don't get much snow in Richmond, but I do travel quite a bit by car...

Racerx,
Beautiful car, congrats! One question for you though, with all your options wouldn't your car be the same a GT premium with options?

I just saw this thread for the first time. I've had my screaming yellow for a month now. It's definitely an attention grabber. Build date was 9/04. It's a premium with the interior upgrade. This is my fourth Stang ('66 289 conv, '71 302 conv, '95 V6). By far this has been the most exciting to drive. I had one woman taking pictures with her cell phone while we were doing 70 mph going home the other night. All you yellows check out Yellowmustangregistry.com

Not sure why the picture got cut in half so I'll try again. By the way does anyone know how to find out when a car came off the line. I know the VIN gives you most of the info but not what the numbers actually mean. These are the last few digits 104387 of my VIN.
