I'm picking mine up tonight!!! Just got the call from the dealer this morning that it came in ahead of time.

Also was happy to find out that my grandfather could sponsor a Z-Plan pin for me and I am receiving an extra $1,000 rebate!! Always good news to hear. Gotta love the Ford employee discount. My selling price for a Premium Redfire GT with interior upgrade was $23,500.

I have an '04 GT that is the charcoal grey with the bullit wheels and I love the color, but the red on the '05, that is one awesome color. I may have to trade mine in for an '05. I like the gauges better on the dash too.

 

OK lets see if this works, the place I store my photo's is a bit touchy, but here is my '05 GT

I placed my order in late September. It was built on November 23rd and I picked it up today. It was actually at the dealer on Friday but I was out of town for the weekend.

The mustang plant is in Flat Rock Michigan which is about 10 miles from my house and about 5 miles from my dealer which was nice since it had practically no travel time between the plant and dealership.

Glad to finally have it!!! Of course it was raining here today and it's dirty already, as soon as I get it cleaned up I'll post some picks.

Hey guys, first post here. I just wanted to say that im the proud owner of a Legend Lime GT....this car is just too sweet!! The best thing is....this car was a (big) suprise, my dad came home, asked me to help him with something outside turns out it was my new stang that he wanted help with lol. I couldnt even talk when I saw it, haha and the stares and thumbs up I got driving my new baby around was just way too cool...hopefully I'll get a few pictures up on here later...if im not too busy driving it around

So the wife and I went car shopping yesterday, drove to three differtent dealers, Kingsland Ford in GA, Starke Ford in FL, boy those guys wouldn't budge on anything. Kingsland was asking MSRP plus $2500for a total of 29???, Starke guy said want to fill out the papers and take it away, then I asked if there was wiggling room in the price($28???)for a white GT premium with leather only. Salesman the said the car was sold, new owner would pick up on Friday. I stated that I could buy a car in Jacksonville for less, he rudely said 'then go get one" So bought a silver w/ dark charcaol leather, Shaker 1000, side air bags, IUP for 27000, sticker was $28945 B) . (Just love end of the month, gotta get it off the lot salesmen). Have to wait for pics still dark outside.

I'm in the doghouse for not telling her I was buying it. Now I've got an appointment with a marriage counselor. At least I'll arrive in style. She's not upset about the car. I think she likes it but is afraid to let me know that. I made a comment that the new car didn't leak on my thigh, she said I shouldn't ever buy another convertible. So I think she's coming around on the car. How can you not love it?
