Keys
On the new Renault (french rubbish!) Laguna, it uses a credit card and that is it. the card has a button to lock / unlock the doors then you insert it in the dash and press the starter.
Apparently, it is rife with problems.............French engineering, you can't beat it (because it might break!)

I kind of think the Ford remote is kind of bland on the styling... I like the GM better.
Ford:

GM:

Even the Mazda has a little more "style" to it:

Dunno what'd be better...after all, its 100% funcitonal. I dunno...something other than a box with buttons.

Even though I hate my wife's Mercedes I really like the key for it. Everything is contained on the key itself and there's a small valet key that can be removed from it (that's the silver loop on the left of the key) I couldn't find a front facing picture but the front has the typical controls, lock, unlock, alarm.
I don't like having a key plus a remote entry keypad. Too much stuff in my pocket.

My 95 Mustang remote looks the same as my Mach remote -- with the exception my 95 had the running horse on the bottom in the "blank area" ..
It's not a big deal to me, but the Ford remotes are kinda bland. The keys are a better size/looking now, so that's a plus.
