Finally got bored with my '06 325i, just didnt have enough power. And the maintenance is gonna kill me eventually. Dealer told me about 6-8 weeks till it comes in. Has this been the norm? Also, what is that 800 number that we can check the order status. I've tried to do a search on here but nothing..

Ordered mine a few weeks ago.. dealer has no info on mine yet.

From what I've read, it looks like the plant is closed for 2 weeks for Independency Day, so it might be a while before anything happens.

Pretty basic but I wanted to keep it as close to 30k as possible without getting carried away. I also asked about the ambient lighting and it just didnt seem worth another 3-4 hundred, cool feature though.

That's what there telling me for shipping date. I figure shouldn't take to long from flat rock, MI to IL. Not sure but I think I heard if you go by the last digit's in VIN it should be car #7536. ATM trying not to think to much about it. No point pacing for something you can't control, but when I get that phone call that it's there. Look out!! I will want to take delivery ASAP.

 

I placed an order as soon as order banks opened, and I was told that July 23rd was my production week.

 

HMM don't know what to say. That ship date is what they are telling me and that's all I can go off of.
