I am starting to really not believe a darn word my dealer tells me. First of all they told me they would have no 2005 mustangs in until November including mine. Well this morning I was on my way to work and Ill be damned if there were not two of them in their parking lot. Anyway mine has the IUP and I was wondering if there were alot of people who have already recieved theirs with the IUP or if that is the reason mine is taking so long. I dont even have a darn vin number yet and I ordered it a month ago. :bang: :bang: :bang: :scratch: this smiley is funny as heck

 

Mine has IUP and I already have it. Of course, I ordered back in June. I don't really know what's going on with IUP, seems to be some confusion that I haven't kept up with since I have driving to do!

I sat in a GT yesterday that had the IUP.

 

I have IUP also but I ordered in June as well.

 

Ordered in August a v6 w\ iup and i'm still waiting on a vin#. It's frustraiting I know.

 

Better check with your dealer, if you're not scheduled with a vin your car probably isn't going to get built (combination V6 and IUP). You'll probably have to drop the IUP to get the car.

I just got word that my car is in. I'm picking it up tomorrow afternoon. It is a GT with IUP. Ordered it in June, built end of September. Good luck with getting yours. Waiting is so frustrating!! There is a post on here that talks about a shortage of part for IUP. Sounds like they may be restricting IUP on the 6 cyl and are trying to come up with a modified IUP.
