Just called the VOPC number an hour ago, and can't believe it but mine has been serialized! Woo Hoo!!!!

Last Saturday my salesman told me that he had allocation for two Mustangs last week, but none of his orders could be built, so he was getting two V6s in whatever configuration Ford decided to make them. Then he said that my next chance to get pulled would be the end of Feb. So that's why I am surprised the order got pulled yesterday.

Now, to be a nice guy to my salesman (who generally has been very nice and forthright with information), I'll have to act "surprised" when he tells me that mine was pulled. Hehe. B)

 

didnt get pulled this week....oh well...i really hope you november orders get pulled soon...that is utterly ridiculous!

 

Arggh, still nothing, C/U Call it a dealer allocation issue if you must, but I ordered from the only dealer I could find that was willing to order on X Plan at the time. If I cancel now and reorder with another dealer (assuming I can find someone who will take XPlan) I go back to the beginning of the queue and wait till, what, June? If I don't I wait until who knows when with my current dealer. This is ridiculous :bang: and I blame Ford's order system, not my dealer who seems to be doing the best they can with what they are given.

 

I'm right behind you in line, Mike (we're both X-plan at the same dealer). I've been in touch with other dealers in the area and nobody else is taking X-plan on GTs yet. I guess we wait... :bang:

I got serialized this week! I ordered from a small dealer where my mom works and they two theories they use: 1) We take care of family and 2) We always prioritize presold cars! Between the two, I hit the front of the order que for them on day one and I'm still there. Did I mention that I got the car on D plan for about $1100 below dealer invoice?
