Kinda funny story. I just happened to be looking at my dealers website to see what other mustangs they had in stock. I just happen to notice that they had a car that was my color and about the price that I was quoted for my order. So I take a closer look, and low and behold it has all the same options that I ordered, further looking showed that it had the same VIN as mine. Needless to say I went through the roof and was looking for the dealers phone number to find out why they were advertising MY car that I ordered and put a deposit down on, as for sale.

As it turns out after talking with one of the sales people, the car arrived at the lot last night at midnight, and they were doing the
PDI on the car. The reason it shows up online like that is just a system that the apparently don't have any control over, but when they pulled up the car on the computer it shows as "sold" to me.

So they need to put the FRPP Handling pack on the car so hopefully I should be able to take it home by the weekend!!!!!

The Wife took a couple of pics for me, they might be too big to post here, but I'll give it a shot!

 

Here's the pics! The Wife couldn't get interior pics, because the service department had them and they were closed for the night. More to come once the new wheels and the handling pac are put on the car!!!

Beautiful choice. They were tempting me when I was looking but the point was to save money until the gt500 prices come out of the stratusphere. Beautiful mustang Congrats.

 

Nice CS! --- I picked mine up from the baker-man in aug. my vin was also posted on their website for maybe 30 days before the car was delivered...the posting included pics from some other vehicle.

What was the cost for the handling pack installation? What did the dealer charge you for the parts? Where you able to roll it into the car loan? Did you do x-plan and negotiate the price of the handling pack plus installation? I plan on attempting the above, what where you able to do. Any answers would be helpful.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words, this is such a cool place. i've picked up alot of good gouge here!!!

Anyways! I got the Handling pack purchased and installed for about 1800 and was able to roll the cost of that into the loan with no problems. I ordered the car on Xplan and it took about 5 weeks to get the car. I could have done other mod's also i.e. supercharger, exhaust etc. etc.
but I wanted my payments within a certain range. Now I just gotta get home so I can drive it!!

 

$1800 installed, I can live with that. What did they do with your old parts? Keep them I guess. Thanks for the quick response to my questiosn.
