Something I always wondered about the original; is the pony actually embossed on there? Always looked like a photochop to me. Did some of you see it in person on preproduction models?

I respect all opinions here (except for the few folks that I have blocked anyway) but I really don't see the big difference between this one and the original besides the emblem. Do we even know for sure what the original one was made out of? Are there any new cars out there using these covers that are made out of anything besides some form of plastic?

Someone has to be the first to make an aftermarket part. Doesn't mean we haven't waited long enough or that it won't be a quality part. PonyGirl will provide more information so that we can all make an informed decision. Frankly, I am surprised that a site of this size and sophistication has not already had a bunch of group buys. I applaud her for taking this on, whether I buy one or not.

I think a Super Charger would look much better

Still have not addressed how it attaches???'s I do not see the mounting brackets that were on Fords concept engine.
I agree, but the Procharger will not interfere, and the silver would match the powder coat of the tubing!

I like it. I WOULD rather have billet, but just think that money could be better spent. I DO like the billet pieces seen posted, and if given a choice and no budget, would go billet. Don't get me wrong.

There is just SO MUCH I want to do on this car.

I know a guy that might be able to make them out of billet. I'll just have to buy one so he can match it or at least make it so it'll fit properly.

Billet would be nice. gotta love CNC machines.

It just had to say GT didn't it? I want a running pony cover seeing as I'm buying a V6.
Considering they have different engines, it would be safe to assume the cover for the GT wouldn't fit on the V6 anyway.

Thanks Ponygirl for doing the research and posting. I am going to think about it, but am liking the idea of the injection molded cover.

OK..........a bit more info.

Shipping for the item is $10 UPS or Fed Ex ( their choice). This is 1/2 of the costs they charge normally. Great for us.

I will be getting the fiberglass one painted in Screaming Yellow with the black GT in a few days. I will install and take pics.

I WILL GET THE INJECTED MOLD ONE BY MID APRIL.....WHICH WILL BE THE ONE OFFERED IN THE GROUP SALE.

I am putting on the fiber glass one, just for picture and product info only. I want to be able to show this installed on a members car, so you have a great idea what it will look like on your car.

They are still working on getting the emblems to have them available as an alternative to the "GT" .

He is going to call me today in regards to the engineering drawings for the bezels. Here are the bezels being worked on:
1. Tail ights
2. Fogs
3. shifter ( auto & Manual)
4. GT Exhaust outlets ( which will attach to the bumper 1/ circle)

Pictures of these will not be available for a few weeks, so hang in there. They will look amazing.

Thanks for all the emails for people wanting in on the group buy. I will personally send you pictures of the cover installed on my car as soon as it arrives.

Will there be pictures of the body color version available?

I like the silver color, but would like to see what it looks like in body color.

I am interested in seeing the two-tone painted cover with the GT emblem being the 2nd color. Thanks for your research.
