Recently, I purchased a SCT X4 tuner on Amazon along with an Airaid Race Cold Air Intake for my 2006 Mustang GT and, using the WiFi, I updated the tuner to the latest software version.

However, this specific cold air intake is not listed as an option to choose from in the cold air intake list on the SCT X4 tuner when tuning my car.

So I was wondering if it would be possible to select another cold air intake in the list (Steeda, for example) and have it work without issues, since I'd rather not pay for a custom tune if possible.

 

I think it depends on the size of the MAF. If you know the size of yours and can find out the size of the ones listed, hopefully one of them will match and you should be able to use it.

 

Is there one for the Roush intake? Same thing. If you have the venturi out of it it is a 101 mm intake so any other brand with the same size will work.
