I have a 05 GT and am reading these fourms to share and learn what everyone thinks about theirs and I need some help.
Why do some of you purchase an exhaust system for 400-1000 to hear that sweet sound then add a highpowered sound system for 1000-3000? Do you want to hear the exhaust or the audio? Do you crank it up to draw attention or what? I do know you don't go parkin to watch DVDs on your system.
If you want to talk to the chick/guy next to you the sound system is off or you can't hear her/ him.
Help me understand all this because I fell off the boat somewhere.

Well as the saying goes "bigger/more powerful is better!" So I guess people that get both are just having a hard time deciding on which they'd like to invest more money in? Or maybe sometimes they do not wish to hear the beautiful exhaust sound and in a vicious cycle must in turn spend more on their audio to drown it out? I have no idea, just tryin to help

It's the american way to have something as great as an american sports car throw out the already working components and make it better, :::cue patriotic theme song ::: if we were a third world country with bread lines things would be different, but since this is the good ol' USA a guy can blow his entire paycheck on some tubes which make his car louder, and a thumpin stereo because he can, and not have to worry because there will be another paycheck next week.
living in excess is an americian trademark just like the mighty mustang in our garages...
its as simple as that.
