I have not read the entire thread, but with said, I just went to the dealers site, and after looking at the vert, I also opened the the small ad at the bottom for a 2004 Mustang with over 43,000 miles on it priced at $24,995!!

So, what is the reason the vert you are looking at, a newer car, and really low mileage is selling for less then the '04, which is a coupe.

Have you checked to see if this car was in an accident, possibly a rear ender, as I also noticed the different tire and wheel on the passenger side, which might be a spare pending delivery of a replacement wheel damaged in an accident. I am just the suspicious type....

Ok, I just read where you decided not to buy....sound decision.

the '04 is a mach 1...but yeah...its priced way too high...I asked them about the spare tire thing a lon time ago, and they said they didnt know why it was like that....maybe I should revisit that with them...over these past 5 months I forgot about it....

I'm in a similar boat. My car was totalled and it has been very hard to refrain from jumping on some "sweet deals" that I have seen around the internet. I am paying off 2 car loans, all my credit card debt, and refinancing my house and THEN I'm gonna jump on another pony. That way, when I DO but a new car, I will be in a much better financial position AND have a much better credit score to ensure I get the best deal possible.

Good things come to those who wait, but it sure is hella hard!

Oh c'mon Rob, that is pure common sense talking!

Rule #1 when it comes to Mustangs: DON'T LET COMMON SENSE GET THE BETTER OF YOU!
