well...I went and looked at it again today....took the wife and got het to sit in it with the top down.....she says I can get it as long as I trade in the focus...but I really dont want to do that...I find myself wanting my focus more then a mustang...can you believe it?

at this point...I dont know what to do. I want the car really bad, but I cant stand the thought of it being my daily driver that will get dirty all that time and have to go through all the weather....but she said the desicion is up to me. I need coaching.

what kind of top does it have ? Vinal or Cloth Cloth I'd take it , but just me not to keen on the red interior and if say you wear a light pant sweat . I'll bet you get a bit of red dye on the pants.

What you could do is buy the Mustang, trade the Focus and pick up a beater to commute to work.

I guess sometimes we count our blessings and hold onto what we have , since material objects are just that they can be bought & sold as a comodity, but not us. I know that be what ever decision that is to be made will be the right one as you have the support of family with you, and you are also a very good judge of right & wronge sir.

The light bar is a CDC. The red interior is leather on the seating surfaces of the front seats. And, no you don't get red on your pants after you have been sitting in it.

Do you get black spots on your pants with the black interiors?

You only live once man, I say get the Mustang, trade in the focus and get a beater later on. This is what I did and was fortunate enough to get a beater that was better than the Cavalier I had that I used as trade in for my '06 Mustang.

It could work out the same for you.

I drove a Mustang Convertible through 2 winters. Only had a problem when I was stupid and didn't wipe off the back window before backing up. Got a little stuck in a snow bank, but was able to to rock her out of it.

The traction control is nice.

I went ahead and did some work on the burdget to see if i can make it work....and the news is...I can.....barely....which is not good enough for me. I'm going to set emotions aside and do what is smart for my family and pass for now. I'm due a raise here in the next comming months or so...I'll see how big it is and then I'll go shopping (seriously) again....the window shopping never stops...I'm addicted. Sorry to dissapoint. I really think this is the right desicion. Its just bad timing right now...

...story of my life!

Keep telling them over and over again.
Also tell them something else they know...
You're the only buyer until spring comes around.
