Heated Seat Switches

Can someone explain the location and function of the heated seat switches? Is there more than 1? Are they on/off or momentary? What icons/picture(s) do they have?

I'm thinking of using them for a garage door opener and possibly some other stuff but I'm not sure which part(s) I need to order.

They are little red seats with little red lights. They stay on like a defroster button next to it, but I don't know if that is from the button or the computer that does that.

Thanks Kevin!

Are there two identical buttons, one for each seat?

They're two identical buttons, one for each seat. They're a single level control toggle - push to turn it on, push again to turn it off.

Thanks very much for the info guys!

Sounds like it's a momentary switch with the on/off and timeout functions handled by the computer. I'm going to order one and try it out. I'll just need to cover or remove the icon without making it look too homegrown...

You could probably cover the LED indicator with a piece of masking tape, then spray the switch flat black or semi-flat black to cover up the seat icons.

Excellent idea! I probably have some leftover from my antenna delete bolt...
