Has anyone tried NitroFill in their tires ?
Here in fl. there is a lot of water in the air so it,s a big bonus here that was just one think if you have tps in your car and the light comes every temp swing you will love nit. for $20.00 most of my customer love it and always tip the tech to top off if needed. it,s a cheap upgrade but it,s not for everyone! Even my 70 boss has nit. in the tires work very well in my pedal bike tires and hand truck tires.
It is a choice, not a scam.
For me, it is a waste of money.
I wouldn't call it impractical if you have easy access to it.
Humid air is a good reason for Nitrogen.
Up here, if you buy your tire in the winter or completely refill them with the dry winter air, there is very little moisture in the air. I have seen no reason for 100% nitro with my vehicles and only have changes in air pressure when the weather changes (radically) with the seasons.

this is the ONLY thing it does.. Besides lightening your wallet..
Take it from an engineer. It can't improve gas mileage or improve ride.
The air you already put in the tires now FOR FREE is mostly nitrogen anyway. Total scam

I remember seeing an attachment you can add to your compressor which is supposed to filter out the oxygen to give you 100% nitrogen. I think it was about $120. My suggestion is to get some filters and make your air as dry as possible.
The only Question I have after all I have heard is this; If this IS a scam, how come NASCAR , aviation and other "gullible" organizations use it ? I doubt it's a good luck charm ! There must be SOMETHING to it ! If you haven't checked out the site, please do ! And while you are there, look to see how many organizations back this with their logo's stamp of approval ! www.nitrofill.com

If your in tune with your car you will feel it right away.not all the mod you do to your car will delivered as promised it kind of like mobil one was in the 70,s not everyone thought it was good now most every oil company has one. To topbless if your ever in FL. stop by and I will give it to you and let you test it for yourself? I would like to know what you think along with the engineer cars I already have it in. In most places air is not free as more shops get a nitro machine the price will come down. I,am not trying to start some think I would like to know what you think. TO any other tms member same offer to you pm me if you would like to try nitrogen and your in Seminole,Fl.

Do you tune your tires to 1/4 of a pound of air? NASCAR does! They use nitrogen because of its pressure stability under extreme temperature change to maintain their tire pressure tune. Besides these NASCAR guys go through great expense and huge pains to achieve the tiniest advantage to win. That really DOES NOT relate to street cars.
It has already been explained in post #19, the aviation use has to do with the flammability of oxygen, and the non flammability of nitrogen. Again, really DOES NOT relate to street cars.
Air, which when dry consists of about 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, and 1 percent other gases, is already mostly nitrogen.
Changing the remaining 15%-20% oxygen in your tires out for nitrogen isn't going to effect your tire wear or fuel mileage. It isn't even going to notably slow the loss of pressure in your tires. The only absolute result will be pissing your money away.
This paying extra for nitrogen in street car tires scam makes the selling of over priced extended warranties scam look really legitimate.
Some people can justify anything! JUST DON'T DO IT!

Black gt500, I checked your references and found flaws in their testing methods. No two tires bleed off air through the carcasses of the tire at the same rate. They should have used the SAME tire to do both tests ! And of course the tire companies don't see any advantage to it... they are in the business to SELL tires, not make them last longer ! Another thing ..safety comes into play. It has been documented that this "unnesessary" purchase increases the safety of the tires. Since when do you put a price on safety ?! NASCAR uses it not only for its pressure stability, but also to keep tire temperatures lower ! That relates DIRECTLY to our application! Next to road hazards, heat is your tire's worst enemy ! Next comes oxidation..another thing this product slows down ! There are other things as well . The only shread of evidence I see leaning in favor of your arguement is the faulty Chinese valve stems soon to be re-called.
nitrogen is not a scam, its holds your tire pressure longer. you dont lose as much pressure in your tires as quick as air would like in cold weather. it will take longer to lose pressure in your tires with nitrogen. i love it, and people on here want to take my words and twist it, just some people like to be assess, actually SMARTASSES
oh and buy the way since you were so quick to be a jerk, air is 78% nitrogen 21% Oxygen and 1% water vapor and gases, but i guess you didnt know that being you were too quick to be an ***.
oh and let me school you a little bit on nitrogen.
By reducing the percentage of oxygen, water vapor and other gases in your tires from 22% to 7% or lower, your tires will maintain proper pressure longer than if you use “plain old air.” For example, with 95% nitrogen in your tires, they retain optimal pressure three to four times longer.
like i said, we use the purest nitrogen we can. but then again you were too quick to be a jerk.
hey but wait theres more for all you people who wanted to laugh at me!
A tire filled with "plain old air" can lose 1.5 psi in less than a month. With nitrogen, it can take up to six months to lose 1.5psi.Oxygen reacts and damages inner tire liners and belt packages; nitrogen does not.NASCAR and IndyCar teams use nitrogen because it allows them to more accurately predict tire pressure fluctuation.
Numerous studies have proven that nitrogen in tires reduces the volume of gases that escape more quickly and cause damaging oxidation. However, research also has shown that nitrogen purity beyond a certain point does not provide additional benefits. In fact, with a nitrogen purity above 93.4%? in passenger tires, oxygen actually begins to migrate back into the tire. You can get all the benefits of nitrogen with a purity level between 93-98%.
OH HEY DIDNT I SAY BEFORE THAT WE USE 98%? BUT YOU DIDNT BELIEVE ME AND YOUR CHOICE WAS TO BE A JERK!!!!
Rim rust caused by condensation from water vapor and other gases can get caught in valves and create slow leaks in tires. Nitrogen is completely dry, so it eliminates the potential for condensation.
If you have a new car, you likely are plagued by a flashing light telling you your tire pressure is low. For example, one woman's light was going off every four to five weeks. After inflating with nitrogen, her light didn't reappear for 53 weeks!
Correct tire pressure keeps the manufacturer's recommended “contact patch” on the road. This lessens the rolling resistance and maximizes fuel efficiency. Hey, thats what Nitrogen does for ya.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, ALL OF YOU WHO DECIDED TO LAUGH AT ME. NOW IM LAUGHING AT YOU. YOU SHOULD DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO GET CUTE AND SOUND LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!! PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT! WHOS THE *** NOW, NOT ME SO NOW THAT LEAVES YOU!
do your research.

i think you need to do your research on nitrogen too, its not a scam
Nitrogen is all around us. when used to replace oxygen and other gases in tire inflation, it enhances handling, fuel efficiency, extends tire life, protects the earth and of course keepes you safer on the road.

you might fly away like chitty chitty bang bang!
