B) Well the time has come to put the ball in motion. Called dealer they said they would except Xplan on my order. They said it would be about 90 days, don't know about that! being in Hawaii and all so far away. Ordering GT,IUP, with spoiler so more delays? You know it's a plus feeling when you talk to the dealer and inform them about the delays in the iup and spoiler shortage. But they said if I order before the price increase, I would be locked in. Will get that in writing. Have'nt talked any figures yet, but was wondering about destination & delivery? (being $625 even to Hawaii) Karpro know anything about this?( car got to come by cargo ship) I know Xplan as explained there is only gas & ford ad. fee, but no doc. Got to ask for copy of DORA, priority # Gee all this great stuff I've learned and still learning! Anyway going to put 500 to order, but refundable. What would I do without you guys! your thoughts! Congrats You are smart to order what you want in spite of potential delays. Two years from now, you won't remember that it took an extra month to get it, but you will be reminded every day if you didn't get what you wanted.

Did you get your questions answered on destination & delivery? I noticed on Ford's web site that destination was the same whether to Hawaii or the Mainland.

I haven't gone to any local dealers yet, but I've been assuming there would be an additional "price of paradise."

If you don't mind my asking, what dealer did you go to, how was the experience, and what are you going to end up paying in additional charges:

destination, delivery, taxes, fees, etc.?

Sorry for not replying sooner, been having email errors and been off island.
Went to Cutter Ford, They honored my xplan, but only by ordering. If you buy off showroom, it's about 6 grand over msrp. What I see is shipping is same, but they have what is called market adjustment price. If you can get a plan, It would help.
msrp for my car is about 28,000, got quote for about 26,000 plus tax,lic,doc.
If you can't get a plan, I would wait or shop around.
I think dealer here get back shipping by this marketing adjustment price. But under a plan, they can't add the adjustment.
I ordered 12/1 and got Dora, now the long wait!
