Get cameras people. I know its a pain but its something that is needed. Especially when you are the victim of multiple attacks! Sit one so its looking from inside your house at your car. Most of them can be set-up for motion detection. I've caught a burglar myself by doing this. The guy had stolen hundreds of dollars in stereo and personal belongings. Kept it all in his house until the cops busted him.

I would even go so far as to put cameras in the Stang. I know I was very paranoid of the brats living upstairs of me when I had my Stang. I was always looking out my window. Just paranoid mostly. But really you need to protect your investment because nobody cares as much as you do.

Exatcly cams are the only way to go. It actually suprises me how many Stang owners are content with their factory alarms. Even with proximety sensor option.

I had a wireless camera system mounted in my 99Stang (before i sold it) along with a long range alarm. My keyfob would would go off if anyone even stood close to my car, this way i could just check my wirless camera and see what's going on.

At minumum every Stang owner should have a long range 2-way alarm with LCD keyfob. They are pretty cheap nowadays. The range on my keyfob was about 1-mile. I could even start my car for that distance. And my wireless cam got about a 1/4 mile range.

My next security setup when get my 2007 Stang.

1) Wireless cam (with Pan\Tilt\Zoom)

2) Long Range alarm LCD keyfob (as before)

3) GPS Tracking and alarm notification via Cellphone.
- you can actually track your car online.
- and use your cell phone for the same functions as your keyfob, even start you car
- plus you get notifications on your cellphone if your keyfob is out of range.

Sure it may seem a little excesive, but insurance companies are useless. I would rather prevent the problem instead of having to deal with it later.

Let's face it, your Stang ins't just an ordinary car, it's an icon, practically a supercar and should be trreated as such.

ANd lot of idiots just can't help themselves in screwing with your propertly because of it.
