as any other day, my car was parked outside. went outside to put gas in it and notice this gold line across the driver side. it was spray paint from end to end. went inside and got the detailer and didnt work. ttried the nxt wax and it came off. took about 20 mins.

glad you could remove it. just look at the bright side - it wasn't keyed, scratched, doused with brake fluid, or shaving cream. but since it's the thought that counts... if you ever find out who did it, let them have it!

If you don't have a safe garage to keep the car in, get a good car cover!!

That NXT Wax is good stuff. I wasn't so fortuneate with my paint ordeal (ran through 15 gallons of wet paint dumped on the road)
It took me a couple of months to get most of it....If the guy who dumped it wasn't an illegal alien, it probably would have been color sanded and re-cleared.
No such luck :bang: Can't get blood out of a rock.

Seems to be a lot of jelaousy, and probably some young punks... thank God my car is in the garage.
You're lucky they didn't hit the windows and any plastic trim with the spraypaint, that would have made the procedure more annoying.

Some idiots think that if they don't have it, they'll be happy if they mess up what someone else has. Just wish I could be there with a baseball bat . . .

I dropped my insurance deductible to $0 in case of just such an incident. The extra $8 month was more than worth the peace of mind.
The people that do this kind of thing are the same ones that decorate our cars with door dings.

Last week, I had my car egged! And they aimed it pretty good too, cause it mostly lodged between the side mirror and the window/car which is extremely hard to get in between! It splattered all over the side of the car, but I was able to get it all off luckily and thank God they didn't decide to break a window or something more damaging... I still have my key job on the passenger side that I am working on getting fixed! >
It almost put me in a mood to stop modifying my car....... Almost...
