I have been lurking for a while and found a lot of useful info and pictures on this forum prior to placing my order. I am excited for it to arrive as this will be my third mustang. My first was a Red '67 convertible with a 289, then I had a 91 LX 5.0.

My dealer was happy to take the order with X plan pricing.

For what it is worth last year when they announced the GT500 I went to my dealer and put my deposit down to get their first one. A few months ago they informed me there would be a 20K premium over sticker. Needless to say I got my deposit back.

Can't wait for my GT to arrive.

I also wanted to say that when I ordered mine, I also had to order Camel versus Parchment but when it came in the window sticker said Parchment. No big deal or anything, just wierd stuff regarding ordering.

The interior code is still KC I guess they just changed the name from parchment to camel for some reason. My 67 mustang had parchment interior but it was more towards white than beige. Maybe people were thinking the parchment was lighter than it actually was.

I am hoping my order will be somewhat quick. I got a priority 10 from one of the biggest volume dealers in Atlanta so opefully that will expedite things.

 

Excellent color choice! Congrats on the order...I'm certain you'll enjoy it. Maybe we can get together sometime and take some pics together since we're practically neighbors.

I am excited to see the exterior/interior color combo. My dealer said he had never seen a vista blue with the KC interior option. He said the charcoal was normally ordered with the blue, but my other car is a blue Sportrac with gray interior and I wanted something a little different. I think it should look real good.
