I think you will be happy with this choice. It looks great. I have installed two Katzkin leather interiors. They make a great product. The one in my Jeep has been installed for four years and still looks like new. They have tons of color, stitching, and leather chioces, so look carefully. Might as well make sure you get exactly what you want as long as you are going through the trouble to reskin the seats.
I'm gonna go with this because I've seen several real life photos now, and I can send them to both my dealer and the installer and say "this is PRECISELY what I want."
Hopefully, Walt doesn't get too upset over my stealing his good idea.
The other thing that might look good in this combo (and you can all tell me what you think), is adding the red piping around the perimeter of the charcoal door inserts. Since I loose the red door inserts going this route, that piping might look nice. I've seen it on another thread here - I'll go and try to find it in a bit...

Here it is. I think this would match the Katzkins quite nicely. Again, much more subtle than the stock red setup >>

Just trying to work out the logistics of all of this first. I learned from Katzkin yesterday that they will no longer embroider the Pony emblem onto the seats without a letter from Ford on Ford stationary - probably an extension of Ford cracking down on the Mustang trademark. Allegedly, an official letter from the dealership is good enough...just another thing we have to sort through.
I'm tending to micromange this process, because I want to get exactly what I'm ordering, and I know how easy it is for little mistakes to happen, and foul everything up.
It should look good when all finished, though. Meanwhile, here are a couple of other quick photos that Walt was kind enough to email me this morning (after he had the headrests changed to Red). I'm sure he won't mind my posting them here. Very sharp indeed.
Thanks again for the good ideas, Walt.

That looks real nice. It looks like warmth of the sun (or something) has gotten the passerger seat to fit a little tighter. IT looked a little loose (lose for those that are spelling impaired ) in the previous pics. I think I'd work real hard to get that letter from Ford. If the dealer can't, I would think the regional rep could get it accomplished.

If that's what it takes, I definitely will be doing that.

I put Katzkin leather in my Stealth. Self installed. It's a big job for a do it yourselfer. Very nice stuff though. We put togethor a group buy with an online retailer. Saved 15-20 percent.
It will definately tighten up over time. The installer can use a heat gun during install but that is just to get the leather to stretch in the right places. The wrinkles disapear after about a month.

Finally managed to get out and take a few grip & grin shots of my new baby as the sun was going down on the lot. She hasn't been washed or PDI'd yet, but you get the general idea.
I think Walt's interior will work quite well with Redfire.
