Rumor has it Ford is considering a glass roof option on 2009 Mustangs. How many of you would be interested?

Shouldn't it cost less for the factory to install the glass roof on the assembly line compared to having to tear out the old roof and install a new one?

I love the glass roof! I would have ordered one from the factory. Why not since there is no sun roof option. It could be marketed as a 2+2 Glassback.

One day I'll have one installed.

if it was in between coupe and vert prices, I would say it has a place, and I would definatley consider it.

I think it'd be too expensive, and more luxurious than muscle car, imo. But not that it matters, cause I'm not getting one anytime soon!

Not for me here in Texas. No way I would have leather either with that roof.

I totally agree 100%.. it ruins the Mustang's heritage, as both an american icon, and american muscle car !
